Knives Out is a modern murder mystery that pays homage to the classic whodunit films. I designed a type centered book to visually reimagine the films script.
Direction
When designing the book, I wanted it to feel and read like an old murder mystery with a modern flair. To do so, I followed a strict grid based layout and experimented with vintage typefaces reminiscent of classic mystery novels.
